Middleton uses True Stereophonic, a unique form of multi-directional stereo sound from Marshall. The company claims that it that can offer spatial audio and binaural sound for a surround-sound experience in a single unit.

The speaker has an IP67 rating for resistance to dust and water, making it a flexible speaker that works indoors and outdoors. And a single charge offers over 20 hours of playtime and reaches 100% battery life in 4.5 hours.

Audio specs for the Middleton include two 3-inch 15W woofers, two 3/5-inch 10W tweeters, and two passive radiators. It also has two 20W Class D power amplifiers for the woofers and two 10W Class D amplifiers for the tweeters.
